Love·Binti / 愛·女孩

在肯亞約有4百萬名的青少女孩，其中百分之80女孩的生活是在貧窮線之下，連基本遮風避雨的屋頂和能溫飽的三餐的都沒有，更不用提每個月生理期所需使用的衛生棉，這個我們在台灣再習慣不過的衛生用品，在肯亞女孩們的眼裡是多麼的遙不可及。從肯亞女孩分享的故事中得知有女孩用性交易來換取衛生棉，許多女孩也因此成了愛滋病的帶原者，另外因為沒有衛生棉也造成許多女孩無法到學校上學，造成教育的中斷。布衛生棉不僅僅能解決每月的不便，更是女孩們教育的關鍵。

There are 4 million adolescent girls in Kenya, Africa. Among these girls, 80% are living in a critical condition, mostly below poverty threshold. Having roofs over their heads are too much to ask, not to mention to hold one of their own sanitary pad. Story was once told; girls try to get pads by having sexual relationship with grown man. This action exposes a great danger of getting ADIS for these girls. （Kenya Team)

For us using pads are our monthly routine, lack of pads makes these girls have to stay at home during school days, sometime they drop out from school because of this. With reusable pads not only can help the inconvenience every month but it is also the key for these girl to stay in school. 2015．Love・Binti / 愛・女孩_肯亞出訪團

衛生棉

一份完整的布衛生棉最多可以有三年的使用期限，我們希望藉由提供肯亞當地青少女布衛生棉的方式幫助他們解決因為生理期而輟學以及性行為氾濫的問題。透過定期招募台灣志工到肯亞教導當地青少女如何製作布衛生棉的方式，使他們可以自行製作，同時有能力教導身邊其他女孩做出屬於自己的那一份，不只幫助自己也造就他人，而非只是單方面接受外界資源。

Girl's pad

One reusable pad can be use up to 3 years. We hope by providing reusable pads for Kenyan girls can help them to get back to school or to reduce the inappropriate sexual behavior. We will also send volunteers from Taiwan to Kenya to teach girls how to make their own reusable pads.

計畫運作說明

＃贊助方式＜500元贊助＞提供本計畫運作行政經費，＜5000元贊助＞提供募集學校購買衛生棉材料成本成本。其餘費用將購買供材料給當地學校、孤兒院自行製作。隨"舊鞋救命"物資發放，進行教導製作。＃加入協作學校　邀請國中、高中家政課老師，國際志工社團一起參與。

Girls not only know how to make their pads, but also can teach others around them. The program can help them to provide for themselves rather than just simply receiving. (Taiwan team)
